About TenderReady
What TenderReady Does
TenderReady is a readiness platform for UK construction SMEs. It helps contractors and specialist subcontractors score their accreditation readiness, identify documentation gaps, and build the evidence packs that CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, and other SSIP schemes require — replacing expensive H&S consultancies with a self-serve tool.
Who It's For
Owners, directors, and operations managers at UK construction SMEs (5-50 employees) — subcontractors, specialist contractors, and trades firms who need accreditation to win work from Tier 1 contractors, local authorities, and housing associations.
Why It Exists
It is widely reported in the industry that the majority of first-time CHAS applicants are referred back for additional information or corrections. Not because they lack the skills to do the work, but because their health and safety documentation doesn't meet the standard. Risk assessments are missing. Method statements are outdated. Insurance certificates don't show the right cover levels. Training records aren't centralised.
The alternative today is paying an H&S consultant £500-£2,000+ per application — and repeating it for every scheme and every annual renewal. That's a significant cost for a 10-person roofing firm or electrical subcontractor.
Every tool in this space serves the buyer side — the accreditation bodies assessing contractors, or the Tier 1 contractors managing their supply chain. Nothing serves the seller side: the small contractor who can do the work but can't get past the accreditation paperwork.
TenderReady exists to close that gap.
Not Affiliated With Any Accreditation Body
TenderReady is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or accredited by CHAS, Constructionline, SafeContractor, SSIP, or any other named scheme. All guidance is based on publicly available information and industry norms.
We help you prepare for accreditation. We do not grant it.
Built by Crocker Digital Ltd
TenderReady is built by Crocker Digital Ltd (Company No. 17008789), a UK technology company that identifies painful, underserved problems in the SMB space and builds focused tools to solve them.
We noticed the construction accreditation gap while looking into the supplier prequalification process — what SSIP schemes demand, what tools exist on the buyer side, and what contractors are left to figure out on the seller side. The answer was clear: nothing purpose-built. Just expensive consultants or trial and error.
